Cancel Your Order

If you purchased an item on Up4Sale, you can request to cancel an order within an hour of your purchase as long as the seller hasn't dispatched it yet. If the seller has already shipped your order they won't be able to cancel it for you.

If it's been longer than an hour, you can still contact the seller and ask them if they can cancel your order for you.

In any case, contact the seller and ask them to cancel it for you.

If the seller agrees to cancel the order, they have 10 days to refund you through the same method you used to pay.

Please remember that if your purchase contained more than one item, the entire transaction will need to be cancelled and you can't cancel individual parts of an order.

To cancel your order, go to your members area, purchase history and find the order you want to cancel. Contact the seller and send him a message and ask them to cancel it for you. Explain to the seller why you need to cancel, and select Send.

If the seller has already shipped your item or if they don't accept your cancellation request, you'll need to wait until you receive the item and then start a return request. This is only valid if the seller accepts returns. If you are not sure, please contact the seller before going ahead with your purchase on Up4Sale NZ online auctions.

Are you a seller looking to cancel a transaction? Please go to your sold items section in your members area and contact the buyer. Ask him if he agrees to cancel the order to get a full refund.

Paying for your item

Buying an item or bidding on an auction on Up4Sale is a commitment to complete your purchase. Even if you've changed your mind or want to cancel your order, you need to pay for your item.

Please remember that all bidding on Up4Sale auctions are final, without the ability to retract bidding. The same valid for Buy It Now items, and it is the sole responsibility to pay for an item.

If you don't pay for your item the seller may open an unpaid item case against you. Unpaid items will lead to accounts termination and forfeiting all fees, and any future registration for the same person will be blocked. This help us to build a safe and secured shopping arena for both buyers and sellers.

All business stores on Up4Sale must follow the guidelines and guarantees set out in the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.
